Bright and Fun
The color families of orange and yellow, create an optimistic feeling demanding our attention. Color ranges from yellow to orange and red. Yellow will be a key fashion color, from light blond shades, to lemon, and gold. Orange renges from peach into the corals. Orange influences yellow and red by creating new golden oranges and fiery reds.
These exciting colors are cooled down by shades of salmon and coral. Pinks and purples continue this season, however, they are more dramatic and romantic. Greens continue to be affected by organic and botanical issues. Yellowed greens continue as well as grassy and leaf greens. Newness arrives in the form of blue green, influenced by lagoons and sea. Blues continue te resemble air and water. Navy blue is dignified and crisp. The royal blues freshen the palette. Focus on the purple blues or periwinkle blues to add life to old color combinations.

Soft and Mutedl
Variety of color is key this season, and there is a softer, muted, color story emerging. The softer hues help to set up the brighter color or help tone down the brighter shades. Soft powder shades of pinks and peaches emerge. Purples are muted and less passionate. Yellows are laid back and resemble butter. Baby blues and quiet aqua emerge.
