Durante la segunda edición de los CBI Regional Development Awards®, realizada el 5 de mayo como parte del programa del Apparel Sourcing Show, fueron reconocidas las empresas líderes de la región en las diferentes categorías: fabricantes de vestuario, textileras, clientes y la nueva categoría de proveedores de servicios y accesorios.

Estas empresas fueron las estrellas de la Ceremonia de Premiación, las cuales destacan cuando se trata de evaluar las necesidades de sus clientes y responder a ellas, creando una visión para el futuro. Todas han demostrado EXCELENCIA en los campos de liderazgo, servicio al cliente, administración de procesos, desarrollo de personal, innovación, mejora continua, desarrollo de alianzas estratégicas y responsabilidad social, y sirven de ejemplo a la industria de la confección en su búsqueda de obtener mayores niveles de excelencia.

Elevando los estándares de la industria de vestuario y textiles, las empresas galardonadas demuestran liderazgo innovador y ratifican la fuerza de esta industria.

La nominación estuvo a cargo de las asociaciones de vestuario y textiles: VESTEX (Guatemala), ASIC y UNITEX (El Salvador), AHM (Honduras), ANITEC (Nicaragua), CATECO (Costa Rica) y CNZFE (República Dominicana).

Además, esta fue la ocasión oportuna para reconocer también el incondicional y valioso apoyo que han brindado los diferentes Presidentes del Apparel Sourcing Show, cuya gestión indudablemente es parte del éxito alcanzado a lo largo de sus trece años de historia: Brent Holmes, 1991; Carlos Arias Maselli, 1992-1993; Michael Patillo, 1994; Francisco Escobar, 1995; Luis Mendoza, 1996-2000; y Joshua Ramazzini, actual presidente.

During the second edition of the CBI Regional Development Awards®, held on May 5th as part of the Apparel Sourcing Show program, the leader companies of the region were awarded according to the categories: apparel manufacturing factories, textile mills, US apparel importers, and the new category services and trimmings providers.

Those companies honored were the stars of the Ceremony, which shine when it comes to assessing the needs of their customers and responding to them, creating a vision of the future. They have all demonstrated EXCELLENCE in the areas of leadership, customer service, process management, employee development, innovation, strategic alliances and social responsibility, and serve as models for the apparel industry, as it strives to achieve ever higher levels of excellence.

Rising the bar for the apparel and textile industry, awarded winners demonstrate innovative leadership and confirm the strength of this industry.

The nomination was in charge of the apparel and textile associations: VESTEX (Guatemala), ASIC and UNITEX (El Salvador), AHM (Honduras), ANITEC (Nicaragua), CATECO (Costa Rica) and CNZFE (Dominican Republic).
