Ha pasado un año casi sin darnos cuenta. Una vez más, hemos llegado al Apparel Sourcing Show con varios nuevos planteamientos para la industria textil y de la confección. Y con novedades en el Show, ya que hemos dado un enfoque distinto a nuestra rueda de negocios para centrarnos en potenciar alianzas estratégicas y posibles “joint ventures” entre clientes, fabricantes y proveedores de la región.

Tal como esperábamos, el Apparel Sourcing Show ha crecido este año un 30% en el área de exposición. Para dar mayor cobertura a empresas que prestan servicios para integración de Paquete Completo y permitir más participación de empresas de maquinaria y tecnología.

Nuestros seminarios y conferencias magistrales, una fortaleza que nos distingue de eventos en otros países, son de primer orden. Apparel Sourcing Show ha cobrado mucha importancia, y ante la proximidad del 2005, Centro América y Guatemala se han convertido en punto de mira de compradores que ahora buscan hacer contratos en la región.

A ello sumamos el CAFTA, que ha creado grandes expectativas y nos coloca en primer plano a la hora de competir a nivel global. Por la flexibilidad y orientación de la industria hacia la Respuesta Rápida o “Quick Response”. Por la transición que han hecho varias empresas orientadas al Paquete Completo. Y por la indudable capacidad textil y de servicios conexos que han convertido a la región en una plataforma efectiva para brindar casi cualquier servicio al sector de la confección para programas de moda.

Serán varias jornadas de gran calidad, desempeño y resultados visibles para todos los participantes, expositores y visitantes. Jornadas que servirán como coyuntura para atraer nuevas inversiones, establecer nuevos contactos y aprovechar el nuevo
clima de confianza que ha adquirido Guatemala ante los empresarios.

A year has gone by almost unnoticed. Once again, The Apparel Sourcing Show is here, with several new proposals for the textile and apparel industry. And with a difference, as we have given a special focus to our business rounds, to center on possible strategic alliances and joint ventures among clients, manufacturers and suppliers of the region.

As we expected, The Apparel Sourcing Show has grown 30% in the exhibit area this year. To provide more coverage for companies who provide services for integrating Full Package, as well as more participants from machinery and technology businesses.

Our speakers and workshops, a strength that distinguishes The Apparel Sourcing Show from events in other countries, are first-class. The Apparel Sourcing Show has attained great importance, and given the proximity of 2005, Central America and Guatemala have become a focus for buyers searching to do business within the region.
