La migración de la actividad exportadora de un estado original de Maquila a una empresa de Paquete Completo implica llevar a cabo muchos cambios importantes: desde el establecimiento de un proceso de compras y costeo adecuado hasta el desarrollo de un sistema de diseño, el mejoramiento y ampliación de los recintos de almacenamiento y la tecnificación del proceso de corte, sólo para citar algunos.
Todos estos aspectos pueden ser manejados por aquellos empresarios que tienen muchos años trabajando para la industria de la indumentaria (en todas sus variaciones) ya que poseen los contactos necesarios en el mercado de los compradores (retailers, brands, etc) como para asesorarse adecuadamente.
Sin embargo, todos estos cambios tienen un común denominador: deben ser financiados. Los empresarios locales deben buscar fondos a mediano plazo (vía leasing, préstamos hipotecarios y/o prendarios) para completar este crecimiento en infraestructura y modificar el perfil de su empresa.

 
The reconversion of the export activity from an original state of maquila to a Full Package business implies undertaking many important changes: from establishing a process for buying and cost-adequating, to developing a design system, improving and enlarging warehouses and technifying the cutting process, just to mention a few.
All of these aspects can be handled by those businessmen who have been working with the apparel industry for many years in all its variations, as they have the necessary contacts in the buyers’ market (retailers, brands, etc.) to ensure proper counseling.
Nevertheless, all these changes have a common denominator: they need financing. Local businessmen must search for funding at a medium term (via leasing, mortgage and guarantee loans) to complete this growth in infrastructure and so modify the profile of the company.
But the main problems in the financial aspect are not confronted then, but in the search for short term work capital that allows buying supplies that, to this date, were received on consignment to construct, finish and send the final product to outside markets.
