This training program combines theory with practice. Once a
month, a foreign expert arrives to provide intensive training
to the group of students full time, for a whole week. During
the following weeks, the group practices in production lines
facing real-life situations where they are monitored so they
can reach an optimum time at solving the problems that rise.
The
temporary training workplace was installed in one of the business
sector’s
plants, thank to the interest and help of the owner and the
effort and dedication of businessmen who direct the project.
By the end of July we expect to graduate the first class of
technicians formed by the industry and for the industry, from
which instructors for the Training Workshop will be selected,
and who are expected to continue training through specialized
education in other countries. Through their experience, new training
manuals and programs will be designed to ensure the ripple effect
of this important business effort.
The need to equip a training workshop is imperative, and we
still lack resources to do it optimally, so we fully expect to
count with
the support of the business sector, who by donating used machinery
in working condition may contribute to round this project and
assure it is sustainable. |
